Hospitality in the western suburbs
This project was born out of an ageing video rental store and our client’s passion to bring a great hospitality venue to Miramar.
The space was a long, narrow, retail outlet fronting Park Road in Miramar. Our client wanted to create a hospitality venue that provided a range of seating options and outdoor space.
By introducing a series of sawtooth-roof structures, we added height and daylight deep into the floor plate. A lounge area, fire places and an outdoor courtyard offered a variety of seating locations and provided flexibility for groups and events.
This project was undertaken while employed at McKenzie Higham Architects.
